Welcome to Troy School District!
On behalf of the Troy School District and staff, I extend a warm welcome to all within our district.
Troy School District, like the community, embodies the values of Pride, Honor, and Tradition. We have earned a reputation for academic excellence, and opportunities unique to Troy. We are very proud of our students, staff, families, community members, and facilities. We share great pride in excelling and qualify as a high performing school. It is here we honor and embed our past, present and future with innovative learning, high expectations, and hard work. In addition to the robust educational program, it has a level of community involvement that draws people to the district. We are committed to building upon past practices to ensure that current and future students have opportunities to explore their interests and find their path.
I am humbled and honored to serve as your Superintendent. For some, whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet, here is a little about my background. My teaching career started here in Troy in 1999. During this time, with the support and patience of my husband and two children, I earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. From there, I decided I wanted to explore additional avenues. I earned my Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Doors opened where I had the opportunity to serve as the Elementary Principal at Troy Elementary. To keep things lively, and with the support of my family and staff, during those years I chose to earn my Special Education Director and Superintendent Certificate. It has been so great to come full circle and see my former students bringing their children to Troy Elementary. I am excited for the new adventure and will continue to learn and grow with our students, staff, and community.
We will be at our best when we continue to stand together and reach new limits! Our students will follow our lead, and they will also demonstrate their strength.
